The 1st WASLI Asia Conference 2025 marks a groundbreaking moment in advancing sign language interpreting across the Asian region. Organized by JUPEBIM in collaboration with WASLI Asia Regional Representatives, this landmark event will take place in vibrant Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from July 31 to August 3, 2025.

Aligned with Malaysia’s role as ASEAN Chair and host in 2025, the conference underscores the nation’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.

Certificate in International Sign Interpreting (CISI) program

NTID at RIT is launching a new certification program: "Certificate in International Sign Interpreting." This online learning program allows you to study from anywhere in the world without needing to travel to the USA.

Are you interested in the RIT/NTID Certificate in International Sign Interpreting (CISI) program? Applications are now open. Visit the CISI webpage (https://www.rit.edu/ntid/aslie/cisi) for full program details in both English and International Sign.

The application deadline is November 30, 2024, with acceptance notifications sent by December 20, 2024. The program begins in February 2025, and the fee is $1,600 (USD).
