36th WFD RSA Representative Meeting

We are pleased to inform you that an event will take place in Indonesia. Details are the following:

Event: 36th WFD RSA Representative Meeting
Date: 16 - 17 August 2024
Venue: Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Fee: USD 300 inclusive of the following:
(a) 2 full days meeting
(b) 4 days 3 nights stay
(c) 3x meals and 2x snack during stay
(d) Ground transportation, and
(e) souvenirs

A meeting of Asian Sign Language interpreters will be organized on 16-17 August 2024. We would like Asian Sign Language interpreters to attend this meeting, however based on the following criteria.

1. If you have a national association of sign language interpreters, you must be a member of that association,
2. If you do not have an association, you must represent a group of other sign language interpreters in your country, or
3. If there are no other sign language interpreters in your country, you can participate.

The attendees are expected to provide an account of the situation that has taken place or/and are still ongoing in their respective country. The input received may be useful for other attendees to devise strategies and plans for interpreters’ professional developments.

To make the meeting a success, we would like to do a quick survey to determine what step that can be taken.
